You are a highly skilled and intelligent university graduate, who has grown up in a comfortable middle class household. You are passionate about the conservation of wildlife, in particular the Galapagos Penguin. You have two once-in-a-lifetime job offers.
Job A is a well paid city banking job which would give you significant disposable income to donate to charity, but would initially involve long hours, repetitive work and corporate politics. Job B is a role in the Galapagos Islands working for an conservation NGO on the 'front lines' researching and directly helping animals, including the Galapagos Penguin. The NGO has been struggling to fill this role with interested and qualified candidates for some time.
